Our resident Manchester City fans in the Transfer Tavern are looking forward to the big clash with Real Madrid next week and have learnt that their club want £20 million for Wilfried Bony this summer, with Swansea and West Ham interested, according to the Daily Star
The 27-year old has been incredibly underwhelming since his £30 million move to the Blues from Swansea, where he was the highest Premier League goalscorer in the 2014 calendar year.
The Ivory Coast striker netted an impressive 34 goals in 70 games for Swansea, but has failed to replicate such form in a sky blue shirt.
Now word around the Tavern suggests that the imminently arriving Pep Guardiola will show him the door at the Etihad, with several English outfits reportedly interested in acquiring his services.
Both the Swans and the Hammers will be looking to bolster their attacking options this summer and Bony could represent the perfect option at a cut price.
Manchester City, would you be happy to see the back of Bony? Let us know in the comments below!
