Manchester City have been one of the dominant forces in the Premier League and in Europe this season, but they did lose valuable ground in the race for the title earlier on this afternoon.
The Citizens managed to bring Riyad Mahrez to the club back in the summer transfer window, which has proved to be a very clever piece of business.
But, the defending Premier League Champions suffered a huge blow on the transfer front recently, as according to A Bola (via Sport Witness), Juventus are making moves to sign Francisco Trincao.
It appears as if Manchester City target Francisco Trincao will end up making a move to Italy.
Interestingly, Juventus are making a pretty good offer to Braga. After having a €7 million (£6.3 million) bid rejected in the summer, they now want a €2.5 million (£2.25 million) loan until the end of the season plus €11 million (£9.9 million) for a permanent transfer in June.
Indeed, the offer is considered to be acceptable for Braga this time, and the only thing which could stop the deal is the fact that Inter Milan would be in the race too.
Francisco Trincao has a bright future ahead of him and is already showing plenty of promise over in Portugal, so a move to the Premier League would be just reward.
But, with Juventus making moves to sign the exciting forward, it comes as a huge blow for Man City as they look set to miss out on a potential future star of the game.
