The news that Manchester City have an almost full-strength squad available and no fresh injury concerns will be encouraging news for Guardiola.
The Spaniard will want to see his side take full advantage of playing earlier than Liverpool this week and will want to see his side take their chance of going back to the top of the Premier League with both hands.
Aguero will understandably be key to their chances of doing so, however, with Guardiola’s rotation policy and the number of crucial games coming up, whether the Argentina international plays remains to be seen.
