Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur fans in the Transfer Tavern have been united to discuss some exciting transfer reports, which link them to one of the most promising talent’s in Spanish football.
The Independent says the Premier League duo are keen to sign Real Madrid’s 16-year-old striker Pedro Ruiz, although he does have a professional deal on the table with the Spanish giants.
Teenage sensation Ruiz has been in electric form for Real Madrid’s youth side this summer and has attracted the interest of some of Europe’s biggest sides, including a number from the Premier League.
Everton and Southampton will also be in attendance to scout Ruiz at an end of season tournament but it’s unlikely Ruiz would leave Real Madrid for a side that is not of a similar stature to the Spanish giants, which makes Manchester United the most likely for his signature.
However, the unstable managerial situation could prove decisive at Old Trafford and our landlord believes Ruiz would have better first-team opportunities at White Hart Lane, under the guidance of Mauricio Pochettino.
