Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern have eagerly gathered around the bar to discuss some intriguing transfer reports, which suggest they’ve beaten the world’s most successful club to an exciting transfer.
The Sun says Manchester United have beaten Rangers in the hunt for the signature of exciting Polish youngster Kacper Chorazka, who had previously been on-trial with the Scottish giants.
17-year-old Wisla Krakow goalkeeper Chorazka impressed the club north of the border but has now been invited to a trial with Manchester United later this year, with his father confirming the opportunity.
“Kacper went to Rangers on trial and I know their goalkeeping coach Jim Stewart liked him. Spurs, Liverpool and clubs in Italy and Germany were interested too.”
“But when you get an offer from a club like Manchester United, you cannot say no. If the clubs reach an agreement then great, but the priority is to develop him as a keeper.”
Our landlord is keen to see what all the fuss is about, admitting his knowledge on Polish football isn’t great, but he believes Rangers would be the better fit, as they’d provide first-team football sooner.
