Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern are wondering if they’ll ever see this youngster in their first team, after hearing their new boss wants to get rid on a temporary basis.
The Sun states new Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has informed young striker James Wilson that he will spend next season on-loan once again, having spent the last campaign with Championship promotion hopefuls Brighton.
United have a wealth of attacking options, including Anthony Martial and Wayne Rooney, but the rise of Marcus Rashford is the underwhelming factor towards Wilson’s exit, with the 20-year-old having been informed he’s not part of Mourinho’s plans.
Birmingham-based duo Aston Villa and Birmingham City are said to be keen on the player’s services and it may be the first name as part of a mass exodus from Old Trafford this summer, with Mourinho set to inform the squad’s fringe players of their involvement next term.
Should United sell Wilson permanently or stick with him? Let us know in the comments below!
