Tottenham Hotspur will be desperate to secure a top four spot in the current campaign despite spending nothing at all during the summer transfer window.
The Lilywhites need to try and gather some momentum as the season progresses in order to stay on course for a top four spot and possibly even the Premier League title. However, they did receive a setback in their pursuit of a target recently, as according to Sun Sport, Manchester United are considering loaning Anthony Martial to a foreign club.
Manchester United are considering loaning Anthony Martial out to a foreign club in January.
The Frenchman has fallen out of favour at Old Trafford, with Tottenham Hotspur being one of the clubs that were interested in his services during the summer transfer window.
And, it’s thought that they’re still keeping a watchful eye on the attacker, but the fact that United are considering a loan move to a foreign club is a setback.
Anthony Martial has established himself as one of the best attackers in the whole of world football, but he just hasn’t been able to work his way into Jose Mourinho’s plans this season.
Indeed, a loan move away is being considered by the Red Devils but not to a Premier League club, which is definitely a setback for Spurs.
However, this won’t stop the London club from continuing their pursuit of the Frenchman as they could try and push for a permanent move at some point in the future.
