Man United considering sale of attacker in swap deal for 21-year-old

The Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern are unsure about the latest proposed switch deal.

Quite often, Manchester United have been rumoured to be preparing swap deals with Real Madrid with the likes of David De Gea, Keylor Navas, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale previously touted.

But now this latest swap deal considers two new players altogether.

According to a report by Spanish media outlet Diario Gol, Manchester United are open to selling Marcus Rashford if they can get Marco Asensio in return.

Both Rashford and Asensio are considered to be among the best young players in Europe.

Asensio is currently enjoying a prolonged period in the Real Madrid side and reportedly has a £442m release clause.

The 21-year-old has six years left on his current deal and it would take something special for Manchester United to prise him away from the Bernabeu.

This is why the Red Devils are reportedly considering offering Rashford as a makeweight.

The 19-year-old is one of the finest prospects in the Premier League after bursting onto the scene two seasons ago.

The England international has seven goals in five assists in fourteen games this year and is improving week by week.
