Manchester United had a hell of a summer in terms of bringing in just what they needed to Old Trafford.
The Red Devils managed to sign Romelu Lukaku to sort out their goal scoring problems, while they also added Victor Lindelof, and crucially, Nemanja Matic to the midfield in one of the best moves of the window.
However, our landlord here at the Tavern thinks that United could well have lost out on the best signing of the summer to their most fierce rivals Liverpool.
That player he thinks they missed out on? Exciting midfield ace Naby Keita.
The Reds have secured the signing of Keita for a huge fee, and he will join them next summer and become part of the Jurgen Klopp revolution which is underway at Anfield.
The midfielder looks to have all the tools to become a top class talent in the Premier League, and Man United could well regret not making a move to seal his signature ahead of their rivals.
Keita offers an energy to the middle of the park which is not seen in too many midfield players, with only N’golo Kante looking like the sort of player Keita looks to be.
Unlike Kante though, Keita brings with him a serious goal threat, and this is something Liverpool will be hoping can propel them to the next level and finally deliver them a Premier League title.
While Mourinho and United got good business done, there is also a nagging feeling that they might have just missed out on a huge player by not landing Keita.
