Man United eye transfer of Ligue 1 prodigy, Mourinho already made contact

mourino902212Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern still haven’t seen their heart rates return to normal after the exciting appointment of Jose Mourinho last week and a new signing could raise the roof even further.

The Daily Mirror state Manchester United are expressing an interest in signing Bordeaux’s rising star Adam Ounas, with new boss Mourinho having already made contact with the French teenager.

19-year-old Ounas has made a big impression with the Ligue 1 outfit this season, making 28 appearances and scoring six goals as the French side finished in mid-table; way outside the European spots, which may play into United’s hands.

Bordeaux have secured the teenager down to a contract that runs until 2019, which means United may have to pay big-bucks to secure his signature, but money should be no problem for the Red Devils, who see Ounas as a great prospect to the future.

A potential arrival of Ounas would bolster United’s already impressive youth ranks, with the Red Devils already boasting the likes of Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Luke Shaw in their squad.

Would Ounas be a useful player for Mourinho’s United? Let us know in the comments below!
