Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern have hoped for big-name signings this month but so far they’ve spent more at the bar than their club has in the transfer window.
Despite their frustrations, it does appear that work behind the scenes for the Premier League giants is happening, with reports of a new goalkeeper set to arrive at Carrington.
The Daily Express, reporting via Polish media outlet Przeglad Sportowy, state that 15-year-old goalkeeper Bartosz Mrozek has been taken on trial by the Red Devils, who made the approach to Lech Poznan in December.
Teenage sensation Mrozek has been watched by United since November 2014 and the Red Devils are ready to make their approach, casting a close-eye on the talented youth before he returns to Poland on Sunday. From there, a decision regarding a transfer will be made.
The potential arrival of Mrozek will very much be one for the future but our fans are happy to see their club continues to eye young talents that can develop into a star at Old Trafford and they’re looking forward to following his progression.
