Man United eyeing raid on La Liga giants to land £125m double deal

The Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern want to sign some top players this summer to prepare for a title push in 2017/18.

And, according to The Daily Star, they could be set to launch an audacious £125m bid in an attempt to land two Atletico Madrid stars.

Goalkeeper Jan Oblak and striker Antoine Griezmann are the talented duo tickling Manchester United’s fancy but they will cost a lot of money to secure their services.

Jan Oblak is being targeted as a contingency plan in case David De Gea joins Real Madrid.

De Gea joined the Red Devils from Atletico Madrid and £40m rated Oblak could follow that path to the Premier League.

As well as Oblak, Mourinho is eyeing a move for Antoine Griezmann, who is currently considered to be one of the hottest properties in world football.

The France international is believed to be valued at £85m which means it would take a whopping figure of £125m to land both Atletico Madrid stars.

Griezmann scored the only goal and Oblak kept a clean sheet as Atletico triumphed 1-0 over Leicester City to edge closer to the Champions League semi finals.

Manchester United are targeting a summer of heavy spending and the first two players in could be Griezmann and Oblak.
