Both Bournemouth and Stoke City fans are gathered around the pool table discussing reports that both clubs are interested in signing a promising Championship midfielder.
The Premier League duo are the latest to be linked with Cook, along with both Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, and Liverpool all interested in the youngster.
It is reported that Bournemouth are going to make a £10 million bid for the player when the window opens, which will no doubt begin a bidding war for the player.
The 18 year old made his Leeds debut last season and to date has made 50 appearances for the club, Cook has also represented England at all youth levels and is seen as a player to watch. A source at Leeds United told The Daily Star :
“He knows he will have to leave Leeds to fulfil his ambitions and he wants to play in the Premier League.”
Leeds fans will be left disappointed by the source at the club’s comments, and will hope that the club have more ambition than what is being said.
Meanwhile, the debate between both Bournemouth and Stoke fans about the player looks set to go on into the night here in The Transfer Tavern.
Which club should Cook join? Would he be better off starting at Bournemouth or Stoke? Let us know in the comments!
