Man United face competition for world-class manager

mourinhoooo!Manchester United fans gathering in the Transfer Tavern for a few drinks to see the weekend in are concerned by the latest reports they’ve read, which suggest a deal for a world-class manager is on the rocks.

The Sun state that Jose Mourinho is fed up of waiting for Manchester United to make their move and is open to a return to former club Inter Milan, where he previously led the Italian side to the Champions League title.

Mourinho has been the favourite to succeed Louis Van Gaal as Manchester United boss ever since his sacking from Chelsea in December but as we approach March, no offer from the Red Devils has been forthcoming.

Although Van Gaal’s future is still shrouded in speculation, Mourinho could move elsewhere and he’s agreed to meet representatives from Inter Milan this weekend, where the Portuguese boss is a special gust for the game against Sampdoria.

Our landlord feels United will get themselves into big trouble if they fail to land Mourinho, as he feels he’s the only boss that can rival Pep Guardiola across the city.

United fans, how gutted will you be if you miss out on Mourinho? Let us know in the comments below!
