Man United given all clear to sign £32m striker

CavaniManchester United fans gathering in the Transfer Tavern are discussing what new strikers could arrive in January and are pleased by the reports they’ve read today.

Metro, citing L’Equipe, state that Paris Saint-Germain are looking at replacements for Edinson Cavani and will accept £32m for his services.

Louis Van Gaal’s side have struggled in front of goal and need reinforcements in the New Year, with Anthony Martial and Wayne Rooney both failing to find consistency for the Red Devils this season.

28-year-old Uruguayan striker Cavani would likely be open to a move to Old Trafford, where he would be considered the top-class striking options, a stark contrast to his situation in Paris where he is forced to play out of position due to Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

However, it’s stated United have tried to sign Cavani previously in recent years but the South American resisted the advances of the Premier League side.

Fans in the bar are confident things will be different this time around and are backing their side to secure this monumental addition.

United fans, is Cavani the striker to win you the Premier League? Let us know in the comments below!
