Man United given tremendous boost in chase of world superstar

NeymarManchester United fans playing pool in the Transfer Tavern can’t quite believe what they’re hearing, as the chances of the Red Devils securing a massive addition next year have been bolstered tremendously.

The Daily Mail states that Barcelona are in immense transfer difficulty that could mean they have to offload either Lionel Messi or Neymar, the latter of which is an ambitious target for Louis Van Gaal’s side.

Sensationally, Barcelona didn’t even make a profit from their Champions League success last year and their wage bill stands at a staggering 74% of their overall revenue.

If the Catalan giants do not turn this around then an exit for one of their high-earners is likely and the club face a huge decision as to which superstar they should allow to leave.

Both Messi and Neymar would attract global interest and command a huge transfer fee, whilst Barcelona would not want to lose their Argentine club legend but would have a similar stance concerning Ballon D’Or finalist Neymar.

United fans in the bar still believe that such a transfer is heavily unlikely but see no harm in trying their luck, stating that Neymar’s arrival would make them Champions League contenders.
