Man United plotting major deal for £77.8m striker, talks have been opened

DybalaManchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern have made it pretty clear to our bar-staff that they’ve written this season off already and instead they’re looking ahead to next term- and they’ve been given a boost by the latest reports.

CalcioMercato reporter Fabrizio Romano has stated that Manchester United have opened talks with Juventus regarding sensational young striker Paulo Dybala.

The Red Devils want to reshuffle their forward line this summer and build a capable of challenging for the coming years, with their aspirations making 22-year-old Argentine international Dybala the perfect target.

United may face vast competition for the young striker’s signature though and Juventus themselves don’t want to sell, with it claimed that the Turin giants have slapped a massive asking price of £77.8m upon the South American.

Dybala has excelled with Juventus after arriving from fellow Italian side Palermo last summer, scoring 13 goals in 24 Serie A appearances for the Old Lady.

Our landlord believes Dybala is exactly the sort of striker that Manchester United need but he feels that the price stated is far too high.

United fans, is Dybala the striker you need or should you look elsewhere? Let us know in the comments below!
