Man United keeping their tabs on three goalkeepers as De Gea edges closer to an exit

The Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern are concerned about the exit of David De Gea.

It now seems inevitable that they will lose the Spain international this summer as he edges closer to a move to Real Madrid.

Jose Mourinho is preparing for the star man’s exit and has three goalkeepers on his radar, according to a report by The Express.

Jan Oblak has topped his list for a while now but Atletico Madrid do not want to lose their star performer.

The La Liga outfit are demanding that they meet his buy out clause of £85m to land the Slovenian international and this hefty price tag is putting Mourinho off.

Instead, the Man United manager will consider other options, such as Oblak’s Slovenian international goalkeeper rival Samir Handanovic.

Handanovic is a Liverpool target who is expected to leave Inter Milan this summer.

Manchester United are weighing up a move for the 32-year-old to replace David De Gea.

Also on the Red Devils’ summer wishlist is Kasper Schmeichel.

The Leicester stopper is the son of former Man United legend Peter Schmeichel and his performances for the Foxes over the past few years have caught the eye.
