Man United legend backs Red Devil to SUCCEED at Old Trafford

Herrera, Fletcher, Valencia, FellainiManchester United fans here in the Football Transfer Tavern are starting to alter their mindset when it comes to the topic of Marouane Fellaini.

Our resident Red Devils are noting that he has actually become a fairly important player for them over the last couple of games and it seems one of their former captains agrees with them.

According to the Manchester Evening News, former United great Bryan Robson was speaking about the Belgian midfielder and seems to think that he could well have a future at Old Trafford after all, following his adjustment to the expectations fans and the media had of him.

He claimed that the initial expectations were a massive problem for the 26-year-old, noting: “I think Fellaini has been one of these players who’s come to Man United, and found it totally different to any other club.

“The expectations, and the way United are expected to play football from the fans.

In more pleasing news for the fans, he added that: “The first season, he didn’t really find his feet, but I think he knows what it’s all about now and the last couple of performances have been very good.

“He’s found where he is. He knows what’s expected now and he seems to have settled down and is playing the football he was playing for Everton.”

Manchester United fans. Is Robson right? Do you think that van Gaal can bring out the best in Fellaini for the remainder of 2014/15? Let us know your thoughts below.
