Manchester United seem likely to be the busiest club in the summer transfer window and the fans in the bar are certainly keeping our bar staff occupied with a wealth of orders, as they run the barrels dry.
Fichajes are reporting today that the Red Devils have made a fresh approach in preparation for the summer market, as they try to persuade Sofiane Feghouli to trade Valencia for the North West of England.
Feghouli will become a free agent in the summer, when his contract at the Mestella expires, and whilst the Spanish giants are keen to tie to midfielder to a new contract, no agreement has been forthcoming as of yet.
That plays into the hands of Manchester United, who are free to negotiate a pre-contract agreement already, and the Red Devils are hoping to persuade him to regret fresh terms in Spain and come to the Premier League.
Feghouli has been a key player in recent years for Valencia but he’s struggled to cement regular first-team football under boss Gary Neville, who of course has close links to United himself due to the years of success he enjoyed at Old Trafford.
Our landlord would like to see Algerian international Feghouli in the Premier League and believes a move is likely, as he feels Feghouli would have agreed new terms already if he planned to stay at the club.
United fans, is Feghouli a decent target for your club? Let us know in the comments below!
