Manchester United may have just had the deal of the summer handed to them on a plate, as it’s being reported a sensational offer has been made to them.
Spanish outlet Sport states Manchester United have been offered the chance to re-sign Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid for a price of just £48.2m.
The three-time Ballon D’Or winner is a cult-hero at Old Trafford due to the services he gave to the club in his first spell in the Premier League, before he then made a world-record transfer to Spanish giants Real Madrid.
In the Spanish capital, Ronaldo has achieved further success and has won multiple club and personal accolades. However, with Los Blancos underperforming this season, wholesale changes are expected to be made this summer and Ronaldo could be sacrificed.
Interestingly, these reports go hand-in-hand with a similar report we brought you yesterday, which stated Real Madrid would be happy to sell Ronaldo if their £48m valuation was met- which increases the credibility of these rumours.
