Man United offered Norwegian defender in late deal

van gaal222222The Manchester United fans are having a friendly game of darts in The Transfer Window are discussing reports linking them with a Norwegian defender.

The Express is reporting that the Premier League side have been offered the chance to sign full back Omar Elabdellaoui by Olympiakos.

The deal on offer is £2.5 million loan deal which will turn permanent for £7.5 million, should United decide to go ahead with a deal.

Manchester United are said to be interested in signing the defender as they bid to solve their defensive woes after a run of injuries at the back.

With Matteo Darmian and Phil Jones are almost back to full fitness, but long term absentees Luke Shaw, Marcos Rojo, Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young are still set for a longer time on the sidelines.

The Manchester United fans in The Tavern would love to see a new addition to their back line but are not at all optomistic about anyone signing by 11pm tonight.
