Man United on alert as global superstar plots summer exit

It is his last chance for a big moveManchester United fans are doing shots in celebration after reports suggested their prayers have been answered.

The Telegraph broke reports today that Cristiano Ronaldo is set to leave Real Madrid in the summer, despite the appointment of Zinedine Zidane as manager on Monday evening.

Ronaldo has been reported to be unhappy throughout the season so far, where Real Madrid are underperforming and seem off the pace in the race for the La Liga title- currently sat behind both of their arch-rivals, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.

Portuguese superstar Ronaldo, who turns 31 next month, seems set to make one final move before he approaches the end of his career- and the latest reports have put Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain on alert.

Ronaldo is a cult-hero at United due to his displays under Sir Alex Ferguson, which eventually earned him a transfer to Real Madrid that, at the time, was the highest transfer fee in football history.

United fans in the bar are still concerned that PSG will beat them to the signature of the excelling superstar but hope his adoration for his former side will lure him back to Old Trafford this summer.
