Man United prepare £50m striker swoop for summer 2016

kaneeeeyManchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern are in a gloomy mood this morning after a goalless draw at the weekend saw them miss the chance to capitalise on slip-ups around them but their horizons have been brightened by an exciting transfer report.

The Daily Star stats that Louis Van Gaal’s side are pushing ahead with the interest in Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane and will lodge a £50m bid for the England international next summer.

United’s front-line has been faltering this season, with Anthony Martial struggling to cope with the pressure put upon him by Wayne Rooney’s awful lack of form- and there’s concerns problems in this area could derail their title push.

It’s stated United watched Kane in action extensively during last weekend’s draw with Chelsea, which included analysis on his all around game.

However, United will find negotiating with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy extremely difficult and the North London side are unbeaten since the opening day- which puts them as firm contenders to seal a top-four finish.

If Spurs secure Champions League football, fans in the bar have conceded they’d have no chance of luring Kane to Old Trafford.

Man United fans, is Kane the striker you need? Let us know in the comments below!
