The rivalry between Man Utd and Man City is a hotly contested one in the Football Transfer Tavern…
The derby game between United and City was one of the busiest nights of the year in the Tavern, and with both sides looking to compete this season – the animosity between the two clubs is only going to grow.
It doesn’t look like the rivalry between the pair is just on the pitch either…

Interestingly, Manchester United were linked with a move for Kroos over the summer – and whilst that move never came to fruition, it is interesting to note that Mourinho hasn’t given up on the German ace.
Kroos’ pedigree speaks for itself, having cemented himself as one of Europe’s best midfielders.
The Man United fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are loving the idea of a Pogba-Kroos midfield duo; whilst our landlord is thinking about a Gundogan-Kroos pairing at the Etihad.
A couple of mouth-watering pairings there…
