Man United should add some depth to their frontline and sign this German striker

Jose Mourinho’s Man United got off to the perfect start last weekend as new signing Romelu Lukaku blasted in two goals in a 4-0 demolition of West Ham at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils looked the business, and new signing Lukaku and fellow newbie Nemanja Matic slotted in seamlessly into the system Mourinho demands of his players.

Our landlord here in the Tavern though thinks that there are further options for United to consider, and one man he thinks could be a real star in England is current RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner.

The 21-year-old was one of the standout performers in the Bundesliga last season as he rattled in 21 goals. His form has led to international recognition, and he bagged for his country in a 4-1 win over Mexico over the summer.

Werner looks to have all the qualities needed to be a top class player for years to come, and his young age means he can move to somewhere like Old Trafford and hone his craft under the eye of Mourinho.

Werner will probably not stay with Leipzig forever, and United could be wise to make a move for the striker before next years World Cup, where his price could sky rocket if he gives an impressive display for his nation.
