Man United should look to beat Barcelona to the signing of this classy young winger

Manchester United have had a summer of heavy spending under Jose Mourinho headed by the £75m capture of Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku.

The Red Devils fans here in the Tavern have been looking forward to the new season beginning, and they get their chance today when United take on West Ham at Old Trafford – a game many will expect them to cruise to victory in.

However, despite the impressive signings so far, our landlord here at the Tavern thinks that there is still room for another one or two top players. One player he thinks could be a special player for United is Dortmund flyer Ousmane Dembele, recently linked with a move to Barcelona.

The 20-year-old French winger has become one of the most sought after talents in Europe thanks to his performances in the Bundesliga and for the national team. His pace, direct style, and ability to finish off chances make him the ideal sort of signing for United.

He would add an element of surprise to their attacks, and along with the likes of Rashford and Martial, the Red Devils would have three of the paciest attacking players in Europe on their books.

With Jose Mourinho always keen to add new players to his squad who can make a difference, Dembele fits that bill perfectly. Dortmund will be keen to keep hold of their man, but as we have seen of late, everyone has a price and big teams are now willing to pay it.
