Man United are always going to be a big draw when it comes to transfers, and they will be hoping to make one or two moves in the coming days before the January window slams shut.

The Red Devils will be keen to bolster their ranks to give Ole Solskjaer the best chance of maintaining his unbeaten start to life at Old Trafford, and we here in the Tavern feel he should be backed with the funds to go out and land some big players.

That's why we feel the club should be making moves to sign young Germand midfielder Kai Havertz, who has developed into one of the finest midfield talents in Europe and is well on his way to becoming a star in world football if he continues to develop.

The 19-year-old, valued at some £65m by Transfermarkt, has bagged six goals already this season, and already looks to have the potential to go on and be a star in world football given the right environment.

Havertz looks to have all the talent in the world, and a move into the English game with a club like United can only improve him further.

Brilliant on the ball and with a keen eye for goal too, he's exactly the sort of attacking midfielder who could make a massive difference to things at Old Trafford.

While defenders will no doubt be top of the bill for the Red Devils, Havertz is there for the taking, and United should ensure they do not miss out on such a prestigious talent.

United fans, what do you think? Good signing? Let us know in the comments!
