Manchester United fans are looking desperate to hear what Metro have to say here in the Football Transfer Tavern as it seems that the Red Devils are ready to make a move for Paul Pogba.
As one of our punters notes over a pint, the Red Devils could have easily saved themselves all the hassle had they simply held onto the player when they had him as a young star.
However, Sir Alex Ferguson’s mistake could well end up being seriously costly and to the tune of at least £61 million to be precise.
That is the amount that United are willing to bid for Pogba in the hope that Juventus will sell him before the bidding really gets heated with Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester City also keen on the French international star.
Given how well Pogba has done not only this season in Italy but since he joined the club back in 2012, we are pretty sure he is only going to get better and better and whoever finally manages to land him from Turin will be one lucky club.
Manchester United fans. If the bidding is starting at £61 million, how high do you think it will go? Let us know your thoughts below.
