Manchester United and Arsenal supporting punters here inside the Football Transfer Tavern have been alerted to the news coming out from the Express – with the media outlet suggesting that United, Arsenal and Man City are all preparing a January move for Chelsea’s Charly Musonda.
Musonda, 19, has found it incredibly hard to break into the first-team at Stamford Bridge, and it seems that a move away from the club is looking increasingly likely.
The former Anderlecht attacking midfielder joined the Blues from Anderlecht in the summer of 2012, and has spent most of his career plying his trade in the youth setup at Stamford Bridge.
Our landlord here in the Tavern admits he hasn’t seen much of Musonda play, so cannot really wade into this debate!
A handful of Manchester United fans here in the Tavern are deliberating this news, and can’t see the harm in Louis van Gaal pursuing a move for the talented youngster – but, are hoping that the club are looking at more established, world-class individuals as well!
A plethora of Chelsea supporters over by the open fire here in the Tavern are raving about the 19-year-old, with them all agreeing he undoubtedly has great potential, having excelled for the Chelsea under-21’s during his time there.
So…. Man United, Chelsea, Arsenal fans…… What do you make of this news? Would you like to see Musonda at your club? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below!
