Manchester United and Chelsea share mutual respect here in the Transfer Tavern but it has been a disappointing season for both clubs. However, there’s good news emerging for United and it comes at Chelsea’s expense.
Highly-rated playmaker Quina joined Chelsea from Benfica three years ago but the relationship has now turned sour, with it stated Chelsea believe he’s already agreed a deal to join a Premier League rival.
Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool have all been linked with interest in the player but Manchester United are said to be leading the chase for the teenager’s signature, which would add a quality asset to their already bolstering youth ranks.
The reasons for Quina’s fall-out with Chelsea are not stated but United have held interest for months and their patience is set to be rewarded.
