Man United’s prime target rules out Tottenham exit

KaneThere’s a stark contrasts of mood here in the Transfer Tavern, with Tottenham supporters singing loudly whilst Manchester United fans whimper into their napkins after comments from one player.

The Daily Mail quotes Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane as ruling out a move to Manchester United, stating he sees his long-term future in North London.

Kane has attracted a wealth of interest in the past 18 months for his quality performances, which have led to him becoming England’s number one striker ahead of the European Championships this summer.

United’s intent to boast the best of English football within their ranks had led to a lot of speculation that they will move for Kane but the FA Cup hero, who scored a last-minute penalty to earn Spurs a replay against Leicester, stated that his long-term future is with his current side.

‘There are always going to be rumours flying around but I’m happy here. The club is in a good shape, we have a great future and I’m raring to go so we will see what happens.’

‘We have got a lot of young players raring to go who are getting better and better with each game and that is all we have got to do. Keep working hard on the training field, we are getting better and more experienced the more we play and I think we can only get better.’

Tottenham currently lead United in the race for a top-four spot and the Champions league riches that come with it, with our landlord stating that the Red Devils need an addition like Kane to have any chance of landing a spot in Europe’s elite competition.
