In our first edition of Celebrity Fans this week, we focus on the champions, Manchester United. We have actors, TV presenters, singers, comedians in this list, even an alcoholic East-end hardman is been thrown into this list. Here are ten celebrity fans of United that prefer watching football to prawn sandwiches:

The GMTV and Sky News presenter is a lifelong United fan and even opened the eulogies at George Best’s funeral and introduced Ole Gunnar Solksjaer at his testimonial against Espanyol.

McFadden is of course, Phil Mitchell from Eastenders, the Square’s resident hardman, alcoholic, beater of Ian Beale and dad to the kid who looks like he will become Eastenders’ next serial killer. Aside from punching people in Eastenders, McFadden probably lists dogging and supporting Man United as his favourite activities.

The actor from Northern Ireland is a big United fan and a vocal opponent of the Glazer takeover. Nesbitt has starred in programs like Cold Feet and Murphy’s Law in his career on the small screen.
