Man Utd agree deal for 21-year-old midfielder

The Man Utd fans in the Transfer Tavern are expecting big things from this youngster…

Despite breaking into the Man Utd first team last season, Sean Goss has struggled to make an impact at Old Trafford this season – leaving many in the Transfer Tavern feeling very disappointed.

Mourinho has had a tough job on his hands, and as a result he has limited the chances afforded to young players – and Goss has suffered as a result of this.

It isn’t all bad news for the young defender, though, with the BBC reporting that Goss is set for a move to QPR – with a medical reportedly set to take place today (Friday).

A deal of around £500,000 has reportedly been agreed between the 2 clubs, with a buy-back clause expected to be included in the deal.

Whilst the Man Utd fans in the Transfer Tavern are disappointed that it hasn’t worked out for Goss, they are pleased that he is finally going to get a chance to shine. Born in Germany, Goss has impressed during his tenure with the Man Utd developmental sides – and whilst he has yet to get a chance in the Premier League, our landlord thinks that he is destined to succeed with QPR.

A midfielder with a keen eye for a pass and a defensive edge, Goss has been compared to the likes of Ander Herrera and Michael Carrick in the Transfer Tavern – which is a testament to how highly rated he is amongst the Man Utd faithful.
