The Man Utd fans in the Transfer Tavern have been desperate to see Adnan Januzaj back in the Red Devils’ first team…
However, it seems as though that is an unlikely conclusion to the Belgian’s Man Utd tale – with the Daily Mail reporting that Jose Mourinho is ready to listen to offers for the attacking midfielder. Januzaj reportedly has a number of clubs across Europe keen on his signature, and given his lack of an impact in the Premier League – Mourinho is seemingly ready to sell.
Should this happen it will, of course, be a sad end to events for the man that was touted as the next Ryan Giggs, having inherited the Welshman’s shirt number, but it just hasn’t happened for him.
With question marks over his size, suitability and attitude, the Belgian has struggled to find a regular role at Man Utd in recent years – with a failed loan to Borussia Dortmund likely spelling the end for him. Indeed, an ongoing loan at Sunderland has done little to change that perception.
Januzaj, who reportedly earns £40,000-per-week, was once a fan favourite in the Transfer Tavern, but it seems as though the fans’ attitudes towards him have changed.
