What promises to be the most glamorous incarnation of a Premier League season took another thrilling turn this weekend.
It was all too much for some of the punters in the Transfer Tavern as poor performances and controversial referring decisions marred their club’s best efforts to get another three points on the board.
Namely, those supporting Chelsea, Manchester United, and West Ham.
The Blues saw a game turned on its head as Leroy Fer clattered into Gary Cahill and completely change the nature of their game away at Swansea City.
Though Diego Costa saw to it that Antonio Conte walked away with a point, the West Londoners dropped points in the title race.
United, meanwhile, were torn apart by rivals Manchester City for swathes of their blockbuster meeting at Old Trafford.
Still, as good as City were at times, Mark Clattenburg invoked the ire of Jose Mourinho after ignoring two big claims for a penalty on Saturday.
Meanwhile, West Ham blew a TWO goal lead at home to Watford, who eventually ran out 4-2 winners.
Life at the London Stadium hasn’t been overly happy as of yet for the Irons, with further crowd trouble rearing its ugly head again.
So, that being said, who had the worst weekend? Chelsea, Manchester United or West Ham?
