Whilst the international break might give football managers a break from the regularity of weekly fixtures, the same cannot be said for the members of staff under their control.
The work never stops for some of Europe’s biggest scouting networks, and it would appear that the English quartet of Newcastle, Sunderland, Everton and Manchester United are all keen to get a look at a few players at during the upcoming international break.
As per James Nursey of the Daily Mirror, the quartet of clubs have sent scouts to watch Austria play Wales – with each club seemingly keen to keep tabs on some of the stars on show.

The punters in the Football Transfer Tavern have been thinking about who each club could be looking at – and they are absolutely stumped.
The obvious answer for Manchester United is Gareth Bale – with Jose Mourinho likely keen on the Real Madrid superstar.
Beyond that, our landlord has no idea!
Newcastle, Sunderland, Everton fans – any ideas?
