Man Utd remain keen on move for 28-cap international as Mourinho considers his options

The Man Utd fans in the Transfer Tavern want to see a few big names move to Old Trafford this summer…

With the return of the Champions League, Man Utd are back amongst some of Europe’s best – but now they need to make sure they stay there.

This goal can only be achieved if the club brings in some of Europe’s best players, and according to Sky Sports correspondent Kaveh Solhekol, the Red Devils are considering a move for one such player. A deal for Nemanja Matic has been touted for a while, with the Telegraph reporting that a move could be edging closer – but that does not tell the whole story.

According to Solhekol, Man Utd are also considering a move for Roma ace Radja Nainggolan Рwho has been very impressive for the Italian side.

At 29-years-old, Nainggolan is by no means a long-term solution for Man Utd – but what he is is one of Europe’s best midfielders. Best utilised as a deep-lying midfielder, his relentless running and the impressive way that he manages to balance defence and attack is remarkable, and he would undoubtedly serve to really improve the heart of the Man Utd first team.

A regular for both club and country, he is a player with years of experience behind him.

Indeed, a trio made up of Ander Herrera, Paul Pogba and Radja Nainggolan is the stuff of dreams for the Man Utd fans in the pub.
