Man Utd remain keen on securing midfield upgrade, could turn to £40m-rated man

The Man Utd fans in the Transfer Tavern are expecting Mourinho to land at least one more big name this summer…

The signings of Romelu Lukaku and Victor Lindelof have certainly calmed the fears of the Man Utd fans in the Transfer Tavern, but with many desperate for a Premier League title challenge next season, they are convinced that more is still needed.

The defence and attack of the Man Utd first team is looking strong, but improvement in the middle-of-the-park has yet to occur, however according to the Daily Mail – that could be about to change.

The Daily Mail are reporting that Man Utd are interested in a move for AS Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan – with the Red Devils considering alternatives to Eric Dier.

Reportedly rated at £40 million, Nainggolan has been sensational in Serie A over the last few years, becoming the talisman for AS Roma in the Italian top flight.

Categorised as a hard-working ball-winning midfielder, Nainggolan is efficient both defensively and going forward, and his relentless tenacity would likely endear him to the Man Utd fans in the Transfer Tavern.

It’s looking to be a very good few weeks for Man Utd, with so much business being conducted, and our landlord is touting them to be a real success in the Premier League next season.
