There are more than a couple of raised eyebrows here in the Football Transfer Tavern as it is claimed by Metro that Carlos Tevez is desperate to leave Manchester City this summer.
Of course the forward has shall we say struggled to adjust to life in England and has never even bothered to learn the language sufficiently.
Now it seems that the weather and driving laws have finally convinced the 29-year-old forward that his future lies elsewhere and Tevez has claimed that he ‘would kill’ for a move to Boca Juniors yet feels the massive transfer fee could be an issue.
The club have always held a special place in the heart of the troubled Argentine and now it seems that money and trophies have little effect on the player with a return to his homeland the first and foremost concern. It is not like Tevez would be on the bread line even if he was forced to lower his salary demands to push through a move and with a summer of change at the Etihad Stadium it seems that Roberto Mancini may be willing to let the forward leave and attempt to bring in some new blood.
Is Tevez’ time at the Etihad Stadium up this summer? Let us know your thoughts below.
