The Manchester City fans who are gathered at the bar in The Transfer Tavern are discussing reports that a Serie A club are eyeing a move for two of their players.
The Daily Mirror is reporting that Yaya Toure and Pablo Zabaleta are on the radar of Inter Milan, who are managed by former City boss Roberto Mancini.
Mancini has targeted the pair with a view to a move to Italy during the summer, as he looks to mount a serious title challenge come next season.
Yaya Toure could be surplus to requirements during the summer when new manager Pep Guardiola takes control at the Etihad.
Zabaleta also faces uncertainty regarding his future at the club, and admitted following City’s defeat to Leicester last weekend that changes were certain when Guardiola takes control.
The 31-year-old has had a frustrating campaign to date with numerous injuries disrupting his progress.
One thing is for sure at City new blood will brought in during the summer and it will be interesting to see how many of the current squad remain at the Etihad in August.
