Real Madrid and Manchester City aren’t exactly two clubs that seem to negotiate well with each other. Every single transfer window sees the Sky Blues ‘eyeing up’ a move or ‘monitoring’ Real Madrid star Isco, and a move never materialises. However, the supporters believe that as Los Blancos are looking at signing Brahim Diaz in January they could use him to poach the Spaniard.
Relations between City and Madrid are good, and Ferran Soriano and Jose Angel Sanchez are trying to reach a compromise for Brahim Diaz to join Los Blancos in January.

The current issue with the Brahim Diaz situation is that Real Madrid are offering roughly 10 million euros, whilst City are keen to get around double that for the youngster. The move has come about as Diaz isn’t happy with his game time at The Etihad under Guardiola and with his City deal expiring in the summer, he’s looking to either force an early move or see out his deal and leave for free.
Keeping that in mind, it will be imperative that if City want to use Diaz as leverage to sign Isco from Madrid, as they’re linked with every six months, then they’ll need to act fast and stop being so stubborn about it. Florentino Perez holds all the cards in this one, and if they feel they’re not getting a good deal for the 19-year-old attacking midfielder then they’ll just pull out of negotiations and sign Brahim Diaz up on a free in the summer.
