Manchester City fans are looking up with interest here in the Football Transfer Tavern as Mirror Football claim that the Citizens will not be selling Aleksandar Kolarov this summer.
The Serbian full back has been linked with a move to Serie A giants Juventus who are of course defending champions in Italy.
Kolarov has been a reliable squad member of the City side in the last few seasons and the club are determined that the player will not be leaving the Etihad Stadium anytime soon.
City are of course looking to improve their squad this summer and have already recruited Fernandinho and Jesus Navas as they look to wrestle the title back off cross-town rivals Manchester United.
The priority for the Citizens this summer is brining players in and selling one of their set piece specialists is certainly not in their plans – to the relief of fans here at the tavern! City are of course closing in on a deal for Fiorentina’s Stevan Jovetic and are looking to build on the foundations that Roberto Manicni has left behind.
