Manchester City fans around the Tavern may be wondering if they still have a Christmas hangover after incredible reports that Chelsea’s Cesc Fabregas and Pedro could move to the Etihad in the summer.
Metro, reporting via Don Balon, state that the pair of Spanish midfielders will look to leave Stamford Bridge in the summer in a move that would see them both join Premier League rivals Manchester City.
The rumours suggest that the double switch would depend on whether or not Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola, who is due to leave the German giants at the end of the season, agrees a deal to become the new City boss.
With Chelsea currently standing at 15th in the league and having lost manager Jose Mourinho, the Spaniards may well be looking to move next season, with the possibility of Champions League football at Chelsea next season looking extremely slim.
Should Fabregas and Pedro make the move, they would be linking up with Guardiola, who managed both players during his time at Barcelona.
