Manchester City will undoubtedly sign some new players this summer and that could mean that others will depart the Etihad Stadium…
The Citizens supporters here in the Football Transfer Tavern are excited at what the 2017/18 campaign might hold for the football club and they anticipate several new additions to the squad.
Any incoming transfer dealings could spell bad news for some of the current City squad and one player who could be sacrificed is Spanish winger Nolito.
The 30-year-old didn’t enjoy the best of maiden campaign’s in the Barclays Premier League and according to the Mail on Sunday, Spanish side Sevilla are wanting to take him on a season-long loan.
Samir Nasri spent last season on loan from City at the La Liga outfit and a similar deal could be struck this summer regarding Nolito, who is craving regular first-team football.
The Citizens are trying to attract some of Europe’s top talents to the club this summer and to raise funds for the glut of arrivals, there will naturally be players who will depart.
A couple of City fans are enjoying the sun here in the Tavern and whilst choosing their cocktails they are discussing the club’s transfer policy. They are both of the opinion that Nolito isn’t a bad player, although they do concede that if City are serious about winning the title then he probably isn’t the sort of player who is of sufficient ability to be part of the squad.
Manchester City fans, would you sell or loan Nolito? Let us know in the comments below!!!
