The Manchester City supporters here in the Transfer Tavern were less than convinced by their side in the 2-1 win over Sunderland on Saturday evening, with Pep Guardiola adapting to life in the Premier League.
Nonetheless a win is indeed a win and the supporters still toasted a first win under the new manager with a tipple or two on Saturday night in the Tavern.
The big talking point among the group was the decision by the Spanish boss to opt for Willy Caballero in goal rather that England performer Joe Hart.
Our landlord has spotted an article in The Mirror today which claims the City hierarchy are set to offload Hart, with Premier League cub Everton reportedly keen to secure his services.
One of our resident City fans is sampling one of the landlord’s new real ales here in the Tavern and he thinks that the club would be crazy to sell Hart, stating that he has largely performed well for the club when called upon.
Manchester City fans, would you offload Hart? Who should replace him between the posts? Let us know in the comments below!!!
