Goal.com claim that Samir Nasri is set to extend his current deal at Manchester City.
The former Gunner struggled last season under Roberto Mancini, but has found a new lease of life under Manuel Pellegrini and now looks set to be duly rewarded by the club.
The terms of the deal will remain the same, with the attacking player earning the £150,000 per week he is currently picking up, but will be extended for a further two years. As our landlord quips, not bad really!
City may have their away day blues this season, and are not the only club, but they also have some world class players, and with the likes of Sergio Aguero, when they are on song, the club are simply sensational.
Whilst Joe Hart has seen his career stall under Pellegrini, Nasri feels back to his best and has seen his influence on the team grow. Teammate Yaya Toure has put this down to the Frenchman having less pressure on himself defensively, and being able to fully focus on his creative side.
