The Manchester City fans have gathered here in the Transfer Tavern and some commotion over by the bar as disturbed their evening drinking game.
Our landlord is getting some bother after informing some Spanish exchange students about an article which he read in The Mirror, who are reporting that Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos is the subject of a £50 million bid from Manchester City.
The German performer had a solid World Cup with his country and new City boss Pep Guardiola is a keen admirer of the 26-year-old.
One City fan is having a game of pool with his mates and he thinks players of Kroos’ quality would aid the club in their quest to finally become winners of the Champions League, stating that he hopes a deal can be made.
The rowdy students at the bar are distraught and one is getting pretty angry with the landlord, shouting that he hopes City don’t sign him as Kroos is a vital part of the Madrid team, stating that he should be kept at the club by manager Zinedine Zidane at all costs.
City fans, would you welcome Kroos to the club? Is he worth £50 million? Who else should the club sign?
