Manchester City are lining-up Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen, with boss Pep Guardiola seemingly deciding that Joe Hart is not good enough to occupy the number one position at the Etihad Stadium.
The news, which was spotted in The Express by a member of the pool team here in the Transfer Tavern, has alerted City fans with some less than impressed at the latest developments regarding the club’s goalkeeping department.
One City fan is over by the fruit machine and he believes that although Hart was shocking for England at Euro 2016, he believes that the custodian rarely lets City down and should be given a chance next season.
New boss Guradiola is set to raid his former club for German goalkeeper ter Stegen, with the 24-year-old losing patience over the amount of game time he is getting at the Catalan giants.
