Manchester City fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are unsure if their target is the right man to lead the club forward after the Daily Mail revealed that they are planning a £50m mega deal for Liverpool star Raheem Sterling.
With the club expected to have a huge turn around of players in the summer, punters believe that if City complete this move for Sterling, then he would be the best player to come through the doors in the market.
And punters are unsure City fans will be content with this as they want to see players who will come in and bring back them back to the top of the Premier League.
Liverpool have valued the English star at £50m, knowing full well this a price City can meet, but the Reds will most likely demand a cash deal.
Another star to be linked with a move to City is Ross Barkley, but he is expected to cost around £40m, and it is unlikely they will be able to afford both.
